narni
Narni is a small fine city rising on a ness dominating the Nera river valley. The city was a center of Umbri people, with the name of Nequinum, even if in this area there was already a primitive human settlement, then, in 299 B.C., it was conquered by the ancient Romans, led by the Consul M. Fulvio. It was a Roman colony, called Narnia. Nowadays, Narni is considered the "Geographical Center of Italy", located in its Cadorna bridge.
