bellagio house

Bellagio is on the tip of a promontory at the end of the chain of mountains where the lake bifurcates. The historic and tourist center is towards the bottom part of the promontory, while its many suburbs are scattered on the hills and overlooks both the south-eastern and south-western branches of Lake Como. The highlight in April and May are the spectaculars colors of azaleas, rhododendrons and camellias. Roses, oleanders and hydrangeas bloom from June to September. The beauty of Bellagio's park and gardens are enhanced by magnificent warm autumn colors from the end of September and for the whole of October. The luxuriance of plants and flowers is favored by a temperate and mild climate.
