Cremona is a lovely town of the nOrth of Itlay. Life in the fields, art and music are the elements that characterise Cremona. The city in fact boasts a secular agricultural tradition, fed by its geographical position, but it is just as famous for the quality of its artistic monuments and the exceptionality of its musical instrument production. The fulcrum of historical Cremona is Piazza del Comune. It is here that its principal monuments appear, almost all of the buildings that have marked the civil and religious history of the city. We find the Torrazzo, an imposing tower built between 1200 and 1300, without doubt Cremona's most well known monument, which can be visited thanks to a staircase of 487 steps, and the Bertazzola, a Renaissance loggia that connects it to the cathedral.
