liguria historic houses
The Ligurian Riviera is divided into two parts: to the east is the Riviera di Levante which zigzags forward from Tuscany to Genova; to the west the Riviera di Ponente traces a curve west of Genova to France. The most authentic Liguria, the truest, is still most certainly represented inland, where you can find extraordinary villages and itineraries that bear witness to the ancient regional culture but also handicrafts and food and wine specialities that have been forgotten along the coasts.
