It is very famous for its beautiful Aquarius, one of the most complete sea park in Italy and in Europe, that gives hospitality to more than one thousand of animal species, coming from all over the world. The structure of this aquarius was built on the occasion of the 1992 Expo, according to a plan by Renzo Piano.
